Bishop's Hull Bingo Club

It is with great sadness that we report the demise of the Bingo, which has been held in the Community Centre for over thirty years. The last session was held at the end of May 2010.

For many years the Bingo has been run by Glad and Mick Greenhoff, and for ten years before that by Sylvia Lee.

The Bingo has been a constant source of entertainment for many in the village, and was a major fundraiser for the Village Trust.

Sadly they have been unable to find someone to take over this social event and the organisers have decided to retire.

We would like to pay tribute to the hard work and enthusiasm over many years by Mick, Glad Sylvia and also to the resident 'caller' Alan Wood, but regrettably their decision is final. They will be sorely missed.

If anyone wishes to restore the Bingo to Tuesday evenings, then please contact any member of the Trust Committee.
