Lent Lunches
Please sign up at the back of the church. Choose a lunch at a different
venue
this year.
SUNDAY FEBRUARY 26th – SUNDAY BEFORE LENT
Archdeacon John will be preaching and leading the 10:30am service. It
will
include an act of commitment as we begin Lent. The service will be followed
by a:-
Pancake Race
There will be an opportunity to compete for the golden pancake in a pancake
race. Bring your frying pan to church, pancakes provided.
This will be followed by a:-
Feast before a Fast
Get your tickets or put your name down today for a hot lunch and
pancakes. £6 a head, discount for children.
The meal will be served in the Church Hall. Tickets available at Church
–
only £6 per person to include soft drinks (children discounted)
(Please bring
your own wine & glasses if desired)
We need another 2 or 3 offers to make casseroles (you will be reimbursed)

Pastoral Care/Visiting
There will be a visitors meeting this Wednesday 15th at 7:30pm. If you
do
visiting of any kind, or could offer to visit new folks or would consider
‘after
funeral’ visits, please come. Tell Sue you are coming or would but
can’t make
Wednesday.
Lindors 2nd 4th June
There are four months to go and two twin-bedded rooms left. If you have
‘ummd and aahhd’ about going, don’t delay see Sue or Dan
Gibbs today.
