Lent Lunches
The notice is up this week. Please sign up today before it gets filled
by other
churches.
The Allsorts are also doing a Lent Lunch on the 11th March in
the hall between
1.00 & 1.30pm. (after the clear up the grounds morning). Donations
will be to
the Allsorts chosen charity for this year. This is yet to be finalised,
but will be
a charity for children.
Lent Groups will be held on Tuesday afternoon, Tuesday evening
and
Wednesday evening. If you haven't signed up and want to come, please let
Sue know.
CMS
I will be handing out Lent Boxes this week. Please support our sponsor
family
in their work. We are following the progress of the Proudlove family and
will
share any correspondence we receive from them.

Ash Wednesday
The Ash Wednesday March 1st evening service will be at St Georges, Wilton
at 7.30pm. Meet at the church car park at 7.00pm or "go under your
own steam".
There will be an Ash Wednesday service here at 10.00am.
Lindors 2nd 4th June
There are four months to go and two twin-bedded rooms left. If you have
‘ummd
and aahhd’ about going, don’t delay see Sue or Dan Gibbs today.
Annual General Meeting Thursday March 9th 7:30pm
Everyone on the electoral roll is involved in this meeting. After a short
business
meeting, the wardens and vicar will open the discussion entitled 'St Peter
and
St Paul 2008'. There are 2 vacancies on the Deanery Synod and 4 on the
PCC. If you would like to give some time and use your gifts by being on
the
PCC see a warden and they will organise it.

those
who can't be there but can do some work in the preceeding week.
