Thanks to everyone who cooked and to everyone for joining in the
Feast
before the Fast on Sunday and to those who took part in the Pancake Race.
We thought it was very successful and folk seemed to be having a lot of
fun.
May have to do it again! As a bonus we also raised the sum of £157.59.
I have
now come to the end of my stint with the social group, so if anyone has
any
amazing ideas then please approach Pat Barrett who will be taking over
as
Chair. Sheila

Lent Lunches
The notice is up this week. Please sign up today before it gets filled
by other
churches.
The Allsorts are also doing a Lent Lunch on the 11th March in
the hall between
1.00 & 1.30pm. (after the clear up the grounds morning). Donations
will be to
the Allsorts chosen charity for this year. This is yet to be finalised,
but will be
a charity for children.
Lent Groups will be held on Tuesday afternoon, Tuesday evening
and
Wednesday evening. If you haven't signed up and want to come, please let
Sue know.
The Leprosy Mission.
Please will those who have Leprosy boxes return them to me as soon as
possible. Thank you. Audrey Burden.
Megan Lewis has completed the Swimathon. Please could you see
her or
Lin to pay your 'dues'.

Annual General Meeting Thursday March 9th 7:30pm
Everyone on the electoral roll is involved in this meeting. After a short
business
meeting, the wardens and vicar will open the discussion entitled 'St Peter
and
St Paul 2008'. There are 2 vacancies on the Deanery Synod and 4 on the
PCC. If you would like to give some time and use your gifts by being on
the
PCC see a warden and they will organise it.
Advance notice
Saturday March 11th 'Clear up the Grounds Morning' Bill has the list for
those
who can't be there but can do some work in the preceeding week.
