Minutes of the Previous Meeting The matters arising from the previous meetings were discussed during the meeting.

1) |
SP apologised for not preparing the letter for circulation to village organisations, but will now get this out this week, asking for reply by 20th May. CB has a list of organisations. SP to email to WCC for printing, and MJ offered to distribute. | SP (now done) WCC MJ |
| 2) | Agreed to re-name the day "Get to Know Your Village Day". | |
| 3) | Agreed programme for the Day: 10 am Church Service 11 am Walks conducted by Ken Burgess from 12 noon - Stands of Village Organisations 2 pm Cricket Match 3.30pm Cream Teas 6.30pm for 7pm Barbecue and Jazz Band. |

| 4) | Events to take place on the field beside the Pavilion (use of electricity needed from Pavilion). Community Room to be used if wet, and Hall for evening if wet - WCC to confirm. | WCC |
| 5) | Organisations to be asked to bring their own gazebo/marquee. | SP |
| 6) | SP to advise Bond Family of change of emphasis | |
| 7) | Other Groups (who may not be on the list) to be circulated: The T.A. The new Youth Club The Website itself (SP offered her laptop which can be chained down) MJ to ask Vicar if WiFi is available at the Vicarage so an internet signal, if not need to consider Downloading website onto Powerpoint and setting up as a slide show. |

| 8) | Jazz band to be booked to play for 2 hrs for 7pm - WCC to action. Cost £150. Proceeds from Barbecue/Bar/Teas to be used for payment. | |
| 9) | Collection bucket to be put out for donations. | |
| 10) | It was agreed that the Thai Chi demo offered by Larry would not be needed. However if any village clubs wanted to do a demo that would be encouraged. | CB |
| 11) | Help will be needed to get chairs and tables onto the field - Cricket Club to be asked to assist with this. | CB |
| 12) | Barbecue needs to be manned - Paul Bulbeck may 'volunteer', to be started at 6.30pm Hot dogs and burgers. Some veggi alternative needed. To be obtained from Tim. | |
| 13) | Bar - drink to be purchased on sale or return from Karl at the Post Office (as he has a licence). Plastic cups needed. Bar from 6.30pm. | |
| 14) | Advertising - Programme to be prepared and delivered to households in June. WCC to investigate if this can be done in conjunction with the Community News. | WCC WCC |
| 15) | Community News advert to be amended to reflect new title of day. | SP |
| 16) | Taunton Times and Gazette (What's On) to be contacted. | |
| 17) | Posters - put up at Car Boot Sale as soon as possible and
at Annual Parish Meeting on Wed. 26th, rest distributed arounded village,
noticeboards etc. MJ to arrange for poster to go up on Boot Sale days |
