Extracts of the LAT meeting held on 10th Feb 2009

The speedwatch team have procured a new speed camera and the team are hoping to be out at least once a week. The areas of concern to the speedwatch team were Heron Drive and also the area within the 20mph zone in Bishops Hull village.

The group discussed youth activities including support for the Youth Group, paintball, cycling, and fishing trips.

The group discussed funding and raising the LAT profile including presence at the local car boot sales which are held throughout the year on the local playing field.

The LAT maintain close contact with the police and police representatives at the meeting reported the arrest of a person they believe had been carrying out a series of burglaries in the Bishops Hull area. This was welcomed as good news as this had affected a large number of households in the area.

The Parish Council representatives on the committee reported litter problems and damage to the play park area in the playing field next to the church.

All Bishops Hull residents are welcome to attend LAT meetings to support local organisations and help within the village.
