MINUTES OF THE MEETING OF BISHOP'S HULL PARISH COUNCIL HELD AT THE FRANK BOND CENTRE ON THURSDAY, 20th APRIL 2007

E1859 MINUTES OF THE LAST MEETING

The Minutes of the meeting held on 15th March 2007 were signed as a correct record.

E1860 MATTERS ARISING FROM THE MINUTES

Fideoak - the Clerk was asked to chase any progress with the situation.

E1861 CHEQUES FOR AUTHORISATION AND SIGNATURE

The following cheques were presented and signed:-
S Watts - Clerk's salary and expenses for April £557.60
R Dezille (street cleaner) £348.80
Village Hall and Playing Fields Trust (TSBC grant) £3,000.00
Somerset CC (allotments rent) £150.00
Bishop's Hull Youth Group £270.00
TDBC (Bench maintenance) £197.78
Somerset Community Council (subs) £25.00
LaMIS (mapping CD) £97.57

E1862 MOUNTWAY ROAD DOG FOULING

This matter had been discussed at the previous meeting and no solution could readily be proposed. It was a matter of catching the dog owners 'in the act' or maybe taking a photograph as evidence. It was agreed to bring it to the notice of the community police officer - it was unlikely that anything could be done, however.

E1863 PLANNING

The following planning application had been considered and no objections raised:-

05/07/09 - Detached double garage at Eagle House, Bishop's Hull Road;

The following applications had been considered and there were objections:-

05/07/06 - Change of use from business to place of worship with ancillary meeting rooms, offices and parking at Hamwood, Bishop's Hull Hill - there were concerns about parking, extra traffic being generated, and possible noise from the building;

05/07/03 - Extension and proposed new car parking area at St Margaret's Somerset Hospice - the new car park would be built across an existing right of way, which would need to be diverted.

E1865 ITEMS OF REPORT

New Model Code of Conduct - the Clerk reported receipt of this. She was making enquiries re every Councillor having a copy.

Tree Preservation Order - the Clerk reported receipt of a new TPO covering specific trees in Shutewater Close.
